Silambam

Silambam is a traditional Indian martial art that originated in the southern state of Tamil Nadu. It involves the use of a long staff, typically made of bamboo, as a weapon for both defence and self-discipline. Our students who are learning Silambam develop agility, hand-eye coordination, and physical fitness, all while mastering the art of staff combat. Silambam isn't just about self-defence; it also teaches respect, patience, and mental focus. This ancient martial art offers students a unique experience that combines physical prowess with a deeper understanding of history. It's an excellent way for students to stay active, and cultivate valuable life skills.

NCC, Scout & Guide

We at Vivekam offer NCC, SCOUT & GUIDE as an integral part of self-defence. Its primary objective is to develop character, discipline, leadership, and a spirit of service among young citizens. Our cadets engage in a wide range of activities, including military training, adventure sports, community service, and social awareness programs. Its plays a crucial role in shaping the future leaders and responsible citizens of India by instilling values of patriotism, unity, and national integration in its members.
