Homework is an integral part of teaching and serves to further reinforce what has been taught in class. Homework will be minimal and not stressful.

Yes, the school has a child counselor who is professionally trained to understand empathies and discuss any problem or situation with children. All discussions with the counselors are strictly confidential.

Teachers undergo training courses and workshops on a regular basis, in order to enhance their professional skills. Workshop for teachers is given a high degree of importance at Vivekam, as teachers undergo a minimum 20 hours of training programme in one year.

The teaching faculty at Vivekam is highly qualified and professional. Each teacher has secured a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.) as a minimum qualification. Our teachers also hold Post Graduate and Doctoral degrees.

Vivekam considers parents as partners in the education process and parents are free to meet teachers, with prior appointment, as and when necessary after school hours. Prior appointment should be sought from school office. Parents are always free to give suggestions through the school diary.

The primary school follows a pattern of activity-based hands on learning. The senior school is recognised by CBSE and follows the CBSE curriculum. The school also comes under the purview of Directorate of Education, Govt. of Delhi NCT.

Special care has been taken off for cleaning and disinfecting the school premise, including machineries for ensures maximum safety.

All the buses are fitted with CCTV cameras, GPS system, speed governors, will have lady attendants, first-aid kits, emergency contact numbers, fire extinguishers, and trained staff.

The school has installed CCTV in all corridors, entrances, and near washrooms to monitor the campus. There are female attendants on every floor. The buses have attendants accompanying the students. We take the safety and security of our stakeholders very seriously and any non-compliance by our employees results in strict action.

We have a no punishment policy. We continually explain to our students the importance of good behavior. However, if the matter is severe, our counselors guide them to control their hyperactivity and behavioral issues.
